Hi I'm David
I'm a Mormon.
I am a husband and father with two grown children. I work as a design engineer.
Why I am a Mormon
I 'grew up in the church' -- as they say about those whose parents were Mormons. My ancestors were converted in the early days of the church. Some came from Illinois, some came from England, some came from Denmark and some came from South Africa--all earlyl converts. Some joined the church in Nauvoo, Illinois and gather with the saints to Utah. There are many stories of faith, of miracles and of hardship from my ancestors. I am delighted to carry on their legacy. I found the church to be a tremendous blessing to me growing up and I was so grateful for the church youth programs that my children enjoyed as they grew up. The blessings of the gospel and both spiritual and temporal--they are both for the here and now and for the ever after.
How I live my faith
My wife and I enjoy daily scripture study and family prayer to invite the holy spirit into our lives. I help others with genealogical work, I teach a class once a month on gospel principles to a quorum of my fellow brothers in the gospel. I perform various functions as a clerk in our local stake.
