Hi I'm Thomas

I'm a Mormon. I am an Automated Equipment Mechanic, Father of 3, Grandfather of 1 and a proud Husband.

About Me

I am a second generation employee of Kodak/Carestream Health. I like to read books, mostly science fiction/fantasy and classic fiction. I love to ride bikes and I am a huge fan of Doctor Who classic and new. I have 3 kids and one granddaughter. I am married with a wonderful caring wife of 19 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a mormon after my first child was born. I was not active in any church ever. My only church visits were sparatic and only before my parents divorce. I was holding my child one night I had the feeling that there was more to this world than I could not explain. A few days later the Lord sent the missionaries to our house. We started to take the discussions and I knew that this was what I needed in my life. I felt the Holy Ghost very strongly when I was reading the scriptures and whenever the missionaries were over at our house. I was baptized and received the priesthood and have been attending church every weekend since.

How I live my faith

I volunteer at our local community kitchen and at the local Re-store store. My second calling in church was teaching the 8 year old's in our primary. I stayed in this calling for 6 years and learned so much more than the gospel. I learned about the Love that Christ has for all of us and about our plan for us. I never thought when I was growing up that I would love teaching, but after that calling I found that I love to teach and help others learn. Since this calling I have taught several years in other parts of our church to the teens and adults alike.
