Hi I'm Scott

I am a husband, a father, a credit analyst, an adjunct professor and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband of a wonder wife for the past 21 years. We are parents of 3 boys and 1 girl. You could say I was "Married with Children" as a shoe store manager early in my working career, but I went back to school and earned my MBA. I currently underwrite loans and teach at a local college. I enjoy visiting family and going to the beach and Disneyland (with my family of course). I love to be with the youth and have been a Scoutmaster for a number of years. All three of my boys are Eagle Scouts and have enjoyed watching many other young men grow and obtain the Eagle award. Life hasn't been easy but with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, my life has been quite enjoyable.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon in a small beach city in Southern California. It was a wonderful location to enjoy childhood. There weren't many members. I observed many of the consequences teenagers incur due to choices they make and found that obeying the things my parents have taught me blessed my life early. I watched my parents and knew that they too have been blessed for their obedience. I am the oldest of 7 and although we weren't rich, we were not in need of anything. The Fruits of the Gospel are why I continue to be Mormon but it is not to say I have not been converted either. I have had the Holy Ghost testify to me and continues to do so as I read the Book of Mormon, attend Church and watch my own children grow and prepare to be men and woman in this difficult world.

How I live my faith

I live to be a good Christian, living the Golden Rule. I have been a coach for little league and soccer. I have been a scoutmaster and I now teach at a local college. Mostly due to my desire to ensure excellent instruction to those who want to learn so they may enjoy life. I currently serve in church as a clerk, recording minutes and events of the congregation as well as ensuring the accuracy of financial records. I watch over 3 families in the congregation visiting them at least monthly. What a blessing to watch others being blessed in the Gospel!
