Hi I'm Kira Lynn Wagner

I'm 21 & living in Provo, UT. This summer I married my best friend. We love movies and watching YouTube videos, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 21 years old and I was born and raised in Utah. I love Utah, it's such a wonderful place to grow up! I keep an avid journal and have since I was 8 years old. I love to read books. My favorite genres are church related and motivational non-fiction books. I love to travel and hope to travel more throughout my life. In June I was blessed to get married to my best friend ever! Life has been great as a newlywed! We live paycheck to paycheck and only just make ends meet but are sure to pay our tithing! We have truly seen and experiences the blessing from paying tithing. My husband is going to school full time to become an oral surgeon while I work full time at a growing watch company. Being a student's wife is tough, but we know that all our hard work and living will pay off in the end.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to have been born in the church. When I was a teenager I never rebelled against the church but I just went with the motions. I did what I did because I knew it's what I was supposed to do. Now I have such a love for the gospel. I love the lesson's, the books, the hymns..I love the peaceful feeling it brings into my life. I have such a love for the people of the church as well. I like to think that we are just a good people in general. We are encouraged to work hard and strive for what we want and believe. We are raised learning to help people and to be clean cut and modest. As an adult and in my married life, I can now fully appreciate what the gospel has done for my life and will continue to do as I remain faithful.

How I live my faith

My husband, Wade and I do our best to live our lives with the gospel in it every step of the way. We read our scriptures together every night(or try very hard to). It's my first time actually reading all the way through it, and with Wade being a return missionary, it helps that he is there to explain everything! I'm gaining my very own testimony of the scriptures by reading them and know that the things written really did happen. All though they were written so long ago, they answer so many questions I have in my own personal life today. It's amazing! Wade and I also pray together every night, which is a very personal and growing experience for both of us. It's a peaceful ritual to talk to God together every night before bed. Although right now, our family is just Wade and I, we try to have "Family Night" every Monday. Life gets busy with homework, friends, work, family, things to do and just plain life, and it gets hard to spend time, just the two of us sometimes. We try to find other things to do besides watching TV or being in our apartment, like going to the park, going on a date, mountains, etc. It's great to look forward to that time.
