Hi I'm Ed

Born in mid west, raised in Arizona, found a home in Washington State. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Father of four wonderful kids, two girls two boys. Blessed to have a loving wife put up with me for 32 years of marriage. Mr. Fixit. Technician I work with my hands. Very lucky to enjoy what I do for a living.Outside of family and church I enjoy collecting and sharing the modern mythology of Marvel comics with my kids and growing number of grand-kids!

Why I am a Mormon

Family joined the church when I was 7 while in Michigan. My youngest sister had been born with a birth defect that required delicate surgery. Two Mormon missionaries came to our door while my father was on the road and just spoken with my mother at the door. She explained all that was going on at the time and said there was no time to met at that time. The Elders understood but asked to leave with a prayer. In the prayer the young Elder asked for a blessing to be on the surgeons and upon my sister, this impressed my mother very much and she asked for them to come back in a couple of weeks. Unknown to my mother my father, even though we did not have a church at the time, made a promise to Heavenly Father that if he would care for his small daughter that he would go to whatever church he would be lead to. A month or so later after the surgery had gone perfectly well, they were meeting with the two Elders and the prayer my father had said came back to his mind and he new he had been lead to where we needed to be as an eternal family.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed over the years to share and better learn my self the scriptures by being asked to teach varies age groups. I currently work on a council and I help look over young children's activities as well as working with the youth.
