Hi I'm Calvin.

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like outdoor activities. I drive a motorcycle. The work I do directly helps our soldiers in active combat and I love the work I do. I have 5 children, 14 grand-children, and a lovely eternal companion of 25 years. The photo in my profile is of me after attending TREK at Martin's Cove in Wyoming with the youth of my stake in Utah.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the church when I was young. I was baptized when I was 9. My father is the best there is. He was a Cub Master when I was a Cub Scout. He was a Boy Scout Leader when I was a Boy Scout. And he became an Explorer Leader when I became an Explorer. He has served the Lord through his example to his children and he is my hero. Sure, it has not always been easy. My parents divorced when I was a teenager. I was pretty broke up about it, too. We lived in a rural community and everyone knew everyone else. I got teased a lot. Through it all, the Lord was always there beside me. I took great comfort and strength from my Savior during those times. I am stronger for my trials, and wiser, too. I know my Father in Heaven and my Savior live. I know they love me. I have no doubts, whatsoever. I know that I will see my Savior one day in the flesh and that my soul will recognize Him by the love He radiates. I know that anyone wanting to find out for themselves if God and Jesus Christ truely live, and seek to know with a sincere heart and an honest intention, will be led by His Holy Spirit to know the truth about His gospel and His church here on earth. Go see the missionaries. Ask them to show you how to know for yourself if our Savior had restored His gospel on earth in these lastdays. It can only hurt if you don't ask!

How I live my faith

I love to live my religion. It is not easy and seldom convenient. Regardless of the difficulties, I strive to be a daily example of who I believe my Savior wants me to be.
