Hi I'm Emily

I am a wife, and a stay-at-home mommy of two. I am a blogger, a photographer, a singer, a baker, a sewer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a sister to 13 siblings. My husband is the most patient loving man i have ever met. I am a mother to two girls ages 16 months and 3 months. I love blogging about my life and all that it intales food i cook, things i sew, my photography, traveling, happy times, hard times. I love making things to sell and share with others in my etsy shop. I love all things musical, and hope to learn to play the piano better. I like to think how everything i'm learning now and teaching myself, i can one day teach to my children, helping my daughters be better mothers and homemakers. I love going on dates with my husband martin, just the two of us. We love taking trips as a family, and love adventure. Sometimes life can be tough, but through the power that comes by knowing Jesus Christ is my savior, and that there's so much more beyond this life, I know that if my faith is strong and with my husband at my side I can make it through anything.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because i can't deny the testimony i have that the gosple is true. I was born in the church, but when i was nine years old i had an experience my very own when i felt the spirit of the holy ghost burn in my heart. i knew than that everything i'd been taught since i can remember was alll true and right. I have found that living a righteous life close to the lord and doing all that he asks gives me more joy than anything else. I love being a part of this Church and feeling like i have a place where i belong. i Love going to reliefe society and feeling the testimonies of all the woman there. I have a very strong testimony of missionary work and the power of prayer. i know that even one little person like me can make a difference in someones life. I know that my family will be together for eternity.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church meetings every sunday, by sharing my testimony with others, by teaching my children to pray and love the gosple. I live my faith by standing up for what i believe in and holding fast to every righteous and good thing. I live my faith by visiting woman in my ward each month and making sure they're doing alright. I live my faith by staying active physically and spiritually, living my life to the fullest- not idling my time away, being a great mom and wife, loving all people, and obeying the commandments. There is so much to it but it all comes down to doing my best at following the example Jesus Christ set.
