Hi I'm Linda

I'm a Mormon. I was born into a Mormon family and have always been active in the church.

About Me

I''m a musician and love to participate in musical groups. I play the piano and the organ and have accompanied many, many choirs in various wards in the Mormon church. Many times I have been touched by the wonderful music amateurs can produce when they are touched by the spirit of God. I am a mother and a grandmother and take great joy in my family.

Why I am a Mormon

While I was born into a Mormon family, I have also chosen to be an active Mormon throughout my life. It brings me great peace to have guidance in ltrying to live in tune with the teachings of Jesus Christ. I love the history of the Church. The bravery and commitment of the pioneers inspires me. Those who knew Joseph Smith and Brigham Young were willing to give their lives for what they believed was true. That fact confirms my belief. As I read the scriptures, I become more convinced that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true and that it shows me the way to live a happy and productive life.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday and usually participate by playing the organ or piano. I also arrange for special musical numbers to be performed in church. I visit some of my friends in our ward at least once a month and try to get to know each member of the ward. When others are ill or just in need of some help, I try to respond by providing a meal, a ride, or whatever will lighten their burden.
