Hi I'm Garrett

I'm a husband and father, an aspiring entrepreneur, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a lifetime member of the LDS faith. I was raised in the gospel but came to know it was true as I attended the temple and tended to my priesthood duties as a young man. I served a mission for the church where I came to know more about our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and their love for each of us. Recently, I graduated from BYU and married my college girlfriend in the Mesa temple.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I have found happiness in the gospel. I was born in the church, but learned quickly that living gospel principles was a much better way of finding happiness than going against those same principles. I am still a member of the church because I strive to grow my testimony every day. As I read the Book of Mormon, I am especially reminded of why I choose to be mormon, it teaches me and testifies to me like no other scripture can. Most importantly, I am Mormon because I know in my heart that Jesus Christ is the savior and redeemer of the world and that He has restored His church to the earth. I have learned for myself this church is His church. I am Mormon because I know we have the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through regular church and temple attendance, daily scripture study, twice daily prayer, activities with my wife and our families, and most importantly by living the principles of the gospel in every setting I am in. I participate in community service activities and get to know those around me.
