Hi I'm Valerie

I am a Domestic Goddess who cherishes being a mother of 3. I am a singer, writer, seamstress. I am Mormon.

About Me

What do you want to be when you grow up? My answer: a mommy and a wife. My dreams have come true! I am a 36 year old women who has lived in many places and searched for many things. I joined the Air Force when I was 21 years old and enjoyed my service for 6 years. Upon my return home to Washington, I found myself a Security Guard, a Recreation Aide, a Customer Service Representative and a Logistics Personnel. In all my rolls, being a Domestic Goddess (a proud at home mommy and wife) is my absolute favorite! I enjoy many aspects of life. I like running, kickboxing, yoga, camping, hiking, sewing, baking, cooking and so much more! I went to school once upon a time to be a Medical Assistant and enjoyed a Medical Administration job in the Air Force. When I had my son I started school to become a Early Childhood Educator. I am about 4 classes shy of that completion. I have struggles, pains, joys. I have lots of love, compassion and faults. I am me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know my Father in Heaven. I am Mormon because my Savior, Jesus Christ dies for me. I am Mormon because Joseph Smith was brave enough and faithful enough to follow God's call. I am Mormon because I know that all this (the church, temples, Book of Mormon, prophets, apostles...etc.) is TRUE! I am Mormon because I know that Heavenly Father has not forgotten me.

How I live my faith

Living my faith means following the teachings and examples of Jesus Christ to the best of my abilities. Everyday I make an effort to read from the scriptures, I pray to God and look for opportunities to share my love with those around me. I go to church, share family time, visit those in need, tend to my duties in the church. Above all, I live my faith everyday by loving those I come across.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Valerie
The simplest way that I can express what The Book of Mormon is is that it is another account of Jesus Christ in the American continent. His witness to those who were not in Jerusalem at His time of death and resurrection. It is their struggles and victories through their faith. Show more Show less
