Hi I'm Jeremy

I work, go to school, play sports and injoy spending time with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work full time and go to school at night time, and have been for the past 5years. It is tough but rewarding and my little family helps every step of the way. I like technology Movies and games, Sports Ping pong, soccor, basket ball, softball etc., hiking, camping, & spending time with family. I am a husband and father of a small family and really enjoy it. Earlier in life I enjoyed and earned my Eagle scout awared, and served a mission out of the country for the LDS Church. I try to do my best and get the most out of life, while helping others around me to do the same.

Why I am a Mormon

Choosing what to do with my time each day really stems from what I feel is right and wrong. Ever since I was young I was taught from good parents and friends. They taught me about Jesus Christ and his teachings. I have seen the good that has come from them and there comitment to him and his people (everyone). I have chosen to give it a try and follow in their footsteps. The more I learn about our savour and his restord church teachings (through the LDS church) it makes me want to be a better person and improve not only my life but those around me. The saying you will know if something is good by its fruits, I know to be true with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Life is not about waiding through the storms, but learning how to dance in the rain. I know Christ lived and died for us and continues to live and help us come closer to him. I know this by the good that has happend to me and the good from the examples I have experianced.

How I live my faith

Currently I have the opportunity to learn from and help the adult male members of our congregation. I help organize lessons and activities that will help us learn more about Christ and how it relates to us and can help us return to live with him again some day. I follow up with other companion ships of two that go and watch over different families of the congragation to make sure they are doing ok. It is very rewarding to know I can make a difference and everyone is utalized each in our own way.

Who chooses the Mormon prophet?

Jeremy
One of the previous prophets do. Each prophet calls men to help him out. He chooses from good, responsible, hard working men that have proven themselves over the years. He then prays to Heavnly Father to confirm his decition. If he feels good he calls them to help him. When the prophet dies the one that has been serving as his helper the longest will always be the prophet next. In this way litterally Jesus Christ chooses each prophet. Show more Show less
