Hi I'm Trent

I'm a web developer who makes killer BBQ a Texan would be jealous of. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My creativity and love for computers led me to programming but that is just my day job. I love to cook BBQ (true apple-wood smoked) and basically anything else that tastes good. I'm a skinny 6'3 former wrestler that won't listen to anything but guitar rock. My greatest treasures are my wife and 4 kids. They love my BBQ.

Why I am a Mormon

My testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ is centered upon Christ himself. My life like everyone else has had its ups and downs, both spiritually and physically. The knowledge that Christ will come again as described so beautifully in the Book of Mormon has buoyed me up at times when no one else was there. I served a church mission in Ukraine and was able to bring the gospel to many people that I love to this day. The church unites everyone as an eternal family and no matter where you end up you will always have someone watching out for you. In these times of worry and loneliness it is truly a gift from our Savior. Ultimately, when I look at my wife and children I know that whatever comes our way, whether death or disease that I will see them again. These relationships literally mean everything to me.

How I live my faith

I keep track of the members that move in and out of our congregation's area so that we can serve them and help them when they are in need. I also help manage the tithing and other money that goes to help needy members in our area. I meet often with several of my neighbors to teach gospel principles and learn of any needs they have whether it be financially, spiritually or anything in between even if it involves helping them with a sprinkler system.
