Hi I'm Nicole

I have two beautiful girls, and a wonderful husband. I love my family, the beach, shopping, traveling and having fun.I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to think of myself as a pretty all-around girl. While I love laughing uncontrollably at the most ridiculous topics, I also enjoy having a serious conversation on art, religion, business, or any other thing that may be of interest. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Public Health at Brigham Young University in 2009. I have a true love for the human body and shared that passion with others as a taught as a teachers assistant in the Human Anatomy Lab while at BYU. That was one of the most rewarding experiences I had while in college, and at times I still dream about being in the cadaver lab! Maybe I am a little peculiar... I met my wonderful husband while studying at BYU. We were married in the beautiful San Diego Temple on August 1, 2008, and we now have 2 beautiful girls who are the light and joy of our lives. While the majority of my days are spent chasing after my girls, I still enjoy and look forward to the activities I loved growing up: I absolutely love the beach, going shopping (my husband would say I enjoy that one a little too much), traveling, reading a good book, seeing movies, and just being with friends and family. my life is definitely not perfect, but it is mine and I wouldn't change it for the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I never saw the need to attend other faiths because from the time I was little until now, I have always had a testimony that I am a member of the true church of Jesus Christ. My testimony is very simple, but it is deep and unmoving. I know that Joseph Smith was chosen to restore Christ's church on the earth and bring back the power of the priesthood. I know that the Book of Mormon is the most correct book on earth today and that the teachings it gives will bring more peace and happiness to your life than any other thing in the world. I am so grateful for the power of the atonement in my life. I know that Christ suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane for each of us, and made it possible to return to Heavenly Father and live with Him forever. I know that it is our responsibility to take advantage of the atonement and apply it to our lives every day. I know I am not perfect, however I know that Heavenly Father does not expect me to be perfect, only to try my hardest every day and to learn from every one of my experiences. I have such a strong testimony of eternal families. Heaven wouldn't be heaven to me without my wonderful husband, and I am so blessed to know that I can live with him forever. I have a testimony of temples and temple work for those who have passed on without those blessings, and am uplifted every time I am able to attend. I know that a true Prophet of God lives on this earth today, and that if we live by his teachings and example, our lives will be happier, easier, and more full of truth and light. I know my knowledge of the gospel isn't perfect, and I am learning more everyday; but what I do know, I know without a shadow of a doubt. Nothing can, or ever will shake my faith. I know that with the Lord on my side, no obstacle or challenge is too difficult to overcome.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by being an example to others. I never want to say, dress, or act in a way that would make others question my beliefs. While it may be intimidating and often scary, I am never afraid to answer any questions someone might have, or stand up for what I believe in. At church every Sunday, I have the opportunity to teach children about Jesus Christ and the scriptures. I hope that something I say each week touches their hearts and they in turn, share that with their friends and family members. I love that I can share my testimony with these kids, and hope they know that I believe every word that I preach to them. In my own home I have made it a priority of mine to teach my children the gospel, and know that it is my responsibility to teach them correct doctrines and instill in them good habits. We make sure to say prayers for every meal, and together as a family every morning and night as a family. I teach my girls about Jesus and our Prophet and how to show love for others. I listen to uplifting music and make sure to take part in wholesome activities that will bring happiness and peace into my home.
