Hi I'm Clay

I'm from Utah, born and raised. I'm a singer/songwriter. Music is my life and my passion. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello! My name is Clay, and I am a passionate singer/songwriter. I play guitar, ukulele, piano, and I am attempting to learn the banjo! I love to record music almost as much as I love to create it. I believe that music can have an incredible effect on the lives of people, whether for good or for bad. The music I write is intended to send a message of Hope and Love. I am a high school graduate, and before my mission, I worked as a waiter at a great restaurant. I am currently serving in the Georgia Atlanta Mission! My family and my friends mean the world to me. People are my favorite....especially interesting creative people....but I love everyone. People make me happy. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I follow Jesus Christ. Not because I was raised that way, but because I have made many mistakes in my life. I have learned for myself that the only way to be truly happy, and to feel content with myself, is by striving to live like Christ in every aspect of my life. He is my Savior and my Redeemer, and I love Him with all that I am. 2 Nephi 22:2 - "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid; for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; He also has become my salvation." I love the Book of Mormon. Reading is a favorite past time of mine, and nothing I have ever read has brought peace and joy to my life like the Book of Mormon has. I have read it cover to cover, I have spent time on my knees praying to know of its truth, and I have recieved my answer. The Book of Mormon is the word of God, written by prophets, and given to us out of love. This I know.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a full time missionary for the Church in Atlanta, Georgia! I will return home in November, 2013. Before my mission, I proudly taught a class of 9-10 year olds in Primary at church! They are awesome kids, and I loved having my testimony strengthened each week as we all learned from each other.
