Hi I'm Keldonna

I was born and raised in Southern California. I have 3 sisters and 4 brothers. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest child of 8. With being the oldest comes responsibilities, and sometimes those responsibilities are hard to maintain in life. But because of it, I have learned so many important and valuable lessons in my life that have blessed me while I am on my own. I love to do many sorts of things in my spare time. I love drawing images that appear in my head. I also love writing, especially in my journal. I find peace in writing down my thoughts and impressions on paper with a pen in my hand. It is my stress-reliever. Sometimes I will jot down dreams that I have, and share them with friends because the dreams I have are filled with adventure, and mystery. They enjoy reading the wonders I dream about. I love to write, it is one of my passions. I happen to now be an official college student. Leaving home was hard, and leaving my brothers and sisters was hard, but I have learned so much while being on my own. The experiences of college changed me for the better, because it taught me to grow up and be responsible for my own life. It was hard at first, like it is for everyone; but I would never take back the experiences that I have had.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I believe in Christ. He is my brother, that sacrificed himself for me, and died for me on that cross. I believe it with all my heart. I believe in his teachings, and in what he stands for. I know that he lives, and is a guidance for you and me everyday of our lives. Sure sometimes I may slip up and forget about my faith in him; but when I pray, I know that he is always there listening to me pour out my broken heart. I know that he sends Angels to comfort me in times of need. I know he is watching over me, and loves me for who I am whether I am choosing the right or not every second of the day. It is the knowledge that I have of this gospel that keeps me going to church every Sunday. It is the atonement that enables me to speak to my father above and repent for all my wrongs. I am not perfect whatsoever, but I can be perfect through Christ, and I can return to my Father in heaven because of Christ's sacrifice on that cross. It is because of the love that exists in this gospel, why I am a Latter-Day Saint; a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others. Whether it is at church, or out in the community, or at home service is one factor of my life that strengthens my faith. At church, when receiving a calling, sometimes I feel overwhelmed with the calling I am given because I am afraid that I cannot serve as well as I would be expected to. But, when asking the Lord for help and strength and guidance, my life as well as many others are changed, and lives are blessed because of the service that was given. Service has always been an important aspect in my life. When I was a youth, we had seasonal youth service activities. I always looked forward to them because I knew that I was going to be helping out others, and the very thought of it put a smile on my face and joy in my heart. I know for a fact that service is an essential part in the gospel and in Heavenly Fathers plan here on Earth. I serve because I know that blessing the lives of Heavenly Father's children, strengthens my faith and my testimony in the gospel. Service provides love to those who may really need it in their life. Without that Love, the gospel would not touch lives. Without that Love, life would be very sad. That is how I live my Faith, by doing service with a whole lot of Love.
