Hi I'm Dustin

I enjoy life. I am grateful. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love life. I grew up in Alaska and moved to Utah when I was a teenager. I am very grateful to my Father in Heaven who has truly helped me in all aspects of my life. I am amazed by the ways He has shaped my through expiriences that I have had. When I was in Alaska I loved to ride my bike. Riding my bike helped me physically and spiritual. I always loved the satisfaction of climbing a steep hill and then enjoying the ride back down. This is what life is all about. I learned when I was young that if I would work hard, I would see blessing or a reward come from that. This has giving me the hope that as I do my best in this life, the blessing will come.

Why I am a Mormon

Truth and understanding is liberating. I am very blessed to have been close to the Fullness of the Gospel since I was young. I have found the blessings of living the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be true and because of that I have not departed from it. I have lived the Gospel, and I have seen the protection and power that comes from that. I have seen others not have an opportunity to do so, and seen the sadness and grief from that. I have lived the Gospel and truly know that as I strive to be like my Savior that the blessing will come. Perhaps all the blessing wont come soon, but I have the hope that they all will after this life. The Gospel has open my mind to greater things, learning is an eternal principle and that pushes me to not waste my time.

How I live my faith

I have done my best to be a good example to others. To encourage others to become better through Christ and to be more like Him. Staying strong to the standards of the Gospel has given me opportunites to share my faith with others as well. Being that example and striving to represent the Savior in all things has lead me to live my faith and to share it with others. Serving a mission to the Hmong people has become a foundation for me as well. As I have lived my faith, the Lord has blessed me with direction and greater understand of His never ending works and His everlasting glory.
