Hi I'm Dianne

I'm a Music Teacher, I love to laugh, and I'm a very happy wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a new wife to an amazing loving and supportive man, a music educator, and a dabbler in too many things. I get to teach music to elementary age kids every day and get a thrill out of their excitement and desire to learn. I'm always wanting to explore new avenues in my own life from things like making bread (haven't quite gotten that down yet) to learning new instruments. Growing up I studied the violin and piano and recently have challenged myself with the guitar and cello. I find that stretching myself to learn more helps me realize what struggles and joys my students experience on a daily basis through school and other activities they choose to explore.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that lived the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through their teachings and examples, I saw the joys that came through obedience, the peace that comes through prayer and scripture study, and the fulfillment that comes through being guided by the Holy Ghost. The happiness I experience through following the teachings of Jesus Christ motivates me to push through the hard times and keep a perspective of what is most important in life: Family and Faith. I know Heavenly Father has a plan for each and every one of us and as I seek to know what it is I need to do on Earth, I feel peace and assurance as I'm on the right path and direction on how to get on track when I am distracted by the busyness that can creep in too often. It is because of these assurances through the Holy Ghost that I know Heavenly Father is real, that the Savior fulfilled the will of the Father, and that I can indeed return to be with Them again.

How I live my faith

My husband and I have the opportunity to teach an institute class on a weekly basis. (Institute is a scripture class for college-age individuals.) What a fulfilling calling! We plan our lessons together and always try to have meaningful discussions with those in attendance on how we can apply the scriptures and the teachings of the modern prophets in our daily lives. I also get to conduct the ward choir. We have amazing talent and a great deal of support in our local ward and I am blessed by working with these wonderful individuals on a weekly basis.
