Hi I'm Kimberly

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I joke all the time about 'living the dream', but really I am. My husband Aaron and I live in Northern Colorado with our two dogs, Bucky and Harley. We enjoy our simple life together. Right now I work as an executive administrative assistant, but hope to go back to school soon to wrap up degrees in Microbiology/Chemistry. Aaron and I love to be outside working on our yard or playing in the mountains. I love reading, movies, biking, shooting, snowmobiles, but most especially being with my family and friends. Life is fun and definitely worth living!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family fortunate enough to have the gospel. My parents taught my siblings and I about gospel principles and encouraged us to be actively engaged in the church. This foundation has shaped my life as an adult and I am grateful for the influence of the gospel. Even though I have always been a member, I know that it is my choice to stay, obey, and serve. Most recently I have come to appreciate the power of the peace that comes from living my faith. During our marriage, my husband and I have experienced various forms of heartache and struggle. From health problems to finances to our present battle with starting a family, we have always felt the love of our families, friends and most importantly our Heavenly Father. We have experienced abundant blessings and I continually feel peace about our situation. We may not be perfect, but I know as we strive to live righteously, we are blessed for our efforts. I know that I am a child of God. Who loves me, and I love Him. I know that He sent his Son to atone for our sins and transgressions. I know that repentance is real and brings closure to problems and peace to our lives. I cherish this knowledge above all others and know that it is real.

How I live my faith

How do I live my faith? By example. Every single day I find opportunities to serve others and show integrity through my words and actions. From dress and appearance, to words and deeds, to discussions and service, I hope that every single thing I do shows that I believe. At church, I am fortunate to serve with the Young Women, ages 12 to 18. I love leading, teaching and encouraging them to be the best they can be. Living my faith, this gospel, helps me to love each girl and to meet their spiritual needs. I know that as I live my life with diligence and faith, I can help these Young Women grow to be happy and lovely adults.
