Hi I'm Que!

I was raised in Texas. In high school, I competed in building searches and our team got 4th in state and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Payson, UT, but raised all around Texas. My family used to move every 2 years, till finally settling down near Houston. I am currently engaged to the girl of my dreams. I'm a dreamer through and through. I write down my dreams for inspiration. I love to read, write, play games, spend time with those I love, dance (especially dance!), and just about any form of art.

Why I am a Mormon

I was kind of raised with it but there have been experiences in my life that have reinforced it. One time when I was younger, I got lost in a forest. I was not afraid, but wasnt sure which way to go either. I sang some primary songs i knew (like children hymns) and walked where my feet took me. I soon found myself outside of our local chapel, and from there I was able to find my way home. I had grown up not really reading the scriptures, but always going to church on Sundays. I grew up being taught it was true but had never really felt it. I changed all that when I started to read the scriptures, praying ,and reading about Jesus Christ (in Talmage's Jesus the Christ) and Joseph Smith (from the church's teaching of the presidents series). I didn't have a huge experience but it was a change that occurred over time. I began to understand in greater detail who these men were. How truly divine Christ was and the feats he accomplished that no mortal can. I learned about a boy who was called to become a prophet and how he grew into it. He wasn't perfect but neither am I. I am just trying to follow Christ's example, wherever He will take me.

How I live my faith

I lend a helping hand where I can. I have volunteered in many different organizations and projects. I do my best to be there for those I care about. I have taught classes or helped answer questions in classes.
