Hi I'm Kent

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a dentist. My greatest joy is my family. I have two recently married sons, a daughter serving a mission in Ecuador, and a son who is a senior in high school. My wife and I like to play tennis together and with friends on the weekends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was once asked when I first came to know that Jesus is the Christ. As I thought about that, I couldn't remember a time in my life when I didn't know. I would have to credit my mother with that. From the time I was saying my first words, I was also saying my first prayers kneeling at her side. We went to church every week. My parents were examples of true Christians. I saw firsthand the joy, peace and love that comes from living the teachings of the Savior. I've seen how true, unconditional love brings out the best in people. I came to know for myself that the Bible and Book of Mormon contain the words of God. That knowledge came through prayer, study, and applying their teachings. It brings me great comfort to know that my family will be together forever because we were sealed in the temple.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by serving my fellowman and helping the poor and the needy. I currently serve as a Stake President in the church. I love to teach the Gospel and see the light that comes into people's lives as they gain a knowledge that they are children of God with unlimited potential.
