Hi I'm Lisa

I am a stay at home mother who is going to school and raising my family and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am almost 50 years old and I am trying to finish up my bachelor's degree in Business/Human Resource Management. I would like to get a Masters Degree in Social Work. I have four children, 3 of whom are raised, and finishing up with the baby who has just started high school. I would like to finish college before he graduates from high school. I love my kids and have enjoyed being a part of their lives through sports, dance and other activities. My husband and I always made sure we were a chaperone for dances or graduation parties because we love being involved with our kids and their friends. My husband and I are missionaries in the Addiction Recovery Program for LDS Family Services and love every moment we have the opportunity to serve.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints from the time I was born. I have had a testimony of the Gospel my whole life. My testimony has matured through the years, but I dare say it has been strong from day one. I love my Savior and know that He knows me and loves me and I want to share that message with everyone I know. What a joyous message to know that God, our Heavenly Father and our elder brother, Jesus Christ, knows and loves each one of us and deeply cares what we are doing.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to share the Gospel with many people through the Addiction Recovery Program. Some people have lost their way because of an addiction and it is my privilege to hold up a light that helps them find their way back to recovery, the Gospel and back to their Savior.
