Hi I'm Margaret

I grew up in Tacoma, Washington. I'm 22 years old. I'm an LPN. I'm a mother. I'm a wife. I'm a Latter-day Saint.

About Me

I was a teenage mother. I gave birth to my beautiful daughter when I was 16. I have been fortunate enough to finish high school, go to college and get my AA in Pre-Nursing, and finish my schooling for Licensed Practical Nurse. I plan to continue in my education and one day become a Registered Nurse. I enjoy playing and watching sports: soccer, football, softball, etc. I can be very competitive. I am also a convert to the Church. I joined when I was 19 years old and have loved every minute of everyday since. I have recently married the love of my life in the temple for all time and eternity. He is a Marine reservist.

Why I am a Mormon

I've decided to join the Church because it just felt right. I had never been to a church or religious gathering where they answered all my questions with legitimate answers instead of "We're not sure" or "That's not necessary for your exaltation." I continue to follow His gospel because I can see and feel the love of my Savior through following His commandments and living virtuously. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true and restored Church. I see it in the lives of those around me. I feel it in my deep within my soul. I witness it everyday of my life.

How I live my faith

I have had callings as a Visiting Teacher where I go, visit, and share a message from the Gospel to some of the women in the church, see how they are doing, and if they need help with anything. I have also taught the 5-6 year old age group fundamentals of the Gospel and about the ministry of Jesus Christ every Sunday. My most recent calling has been with the youth of the church. I teach and help organize events for the young women in the ward I am in. I do my best to try and help them understand how they can live the Gospel of Jesus Christ while still trying to be a teenager and find out who they are.
