Hi I'm Nathaniel

I live in California. "Joined the church when I was 27." Happily married and Father of two. "I'm a Mormon."

About Me

I am a Father of two and happily married. I also work in the construction industry in the Bay Area, and went back to college and earned my degree in my late 30's (I am now 38). I am active in the church and love everything about the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. As for hobbies I like sports, the outdoors, and political talk radio.

Why I am a Mormon

Everything about the teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith made sense to me when I first heard them. In fact, the more I would learn the more I knew the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was true. And of course there is the Book of Mormon. That book has shook my soul on more than one ocassion and continues to be a source of inspiration for me in a way that no other book has been able to do. Then there is the Temple and everything that flows from it. I can honestly say that of all the things that are uncertain in life and in my life what is not uncertain is the validity and reality of the priesthood being restored to the earth and the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. IF there is one thing I would say to someone interested in the church it would be: "follow your heart and pray to God and you will know what to do."

How I live my faith

I keep it simple. I also do my best to know what is expected of me and then go about and do it. For example, I concern myself with how I talk, dress, act, and react. I concern myself with what I do with my spare time, including never passing up opportunities to serve in the church. I try to treat others as I would want them to treat me, and I always try to lend a helping hand to those that may be in need of help. I also try to have daily scripture study and prayer in my life so I am more prone to having the spirit as a quide for me. Most importantly though I listen and study what the living prophet has to say and then go about adapting my life to his advice which I know is God's will for me.
