Hi I'm Ben

I grew up in Utah, but have moved east to Cornhusker country. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to an amazing woman and we have one beautiful daughter. My time away from home is spent working as a pharmacist. I graduated from Creighton University in 2009, and have been working in a Wal-Mart pharmacy ever since. I love what I do, and enjoy helping enrich the lives of others through my profession. Some people may call me a sports fanatic, as I enjoy following just about every sport out there.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of the LDS church, and have learned for myself the truth found in it. Everything about this church makes sense to me. It gives me direction, strength, and a strong feeling of hope in this crazy world we live in. Without the perspective I have gained through the teachings of the LDS faith, life would not have the purpose and fulfillment it has now. God has a plan for each and every one of us during our time here on earth. I feel this way because I have survived an accident that should have taken my life away. Now, I find myself with a wonderful wife and daughter, each of which continually bring me a great deal of happiness and a desire to be the best person I can be. Surely they are the biggest reason why I was granted a "second chance" at life. I know I will be able to spend eternity with my family and my Father in Heaven. There is a point to us being here! God has a perfect plan set out for us, and would love nothing more for us to return to His presence. The way to make it back there is through living the teachings that this church alone can provide.

How I live my faith

I help oversee teaching of the scriptures in our meetings on Sundays. I also visit other members of our congregation on a monthly basis to get to know them better.
