Hi I'm Dawn

I grow things- kids, animals and plants. I help people repair their health in unusual ways. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mom of six wonderful children and 18 grandchildren who fill my life with laughter and hugs. I studied theater and teaching at BYU. I’ve been an homemaker for most of my life but have also taught and designed stage makeup at a children’s theater, worked as a medical receptionist and currently own a business as biofeedback specialist. Favorite memories include camping, sailing and kayaking adventures with my family. I love to sew, garden, sing, travel and study alternative ways of healing. I have experienced great tragedy and amazing miracles in my life. I know Jesus Christ lives and is the Son of God. I feel His love and the miraculous blessings of His Atonement. He has led me though very dark and difficult times. I feel his daily guidance, comfort and encouragement and I rejoice in the great privilege of life!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is the only way I can participate in the restored covenants, promises and blessing of Christ’s Church. I love having the Priesthood of God available in my home for healing, for guidance, for comfort and for protection when needed. I so appreciate being able to know a Prophet of God is guiding this Church just as Elijah did in the Old Testament times, or Peter did in New Testament times. I love the opportunities Mormons have to serve as lay ministers in teaching and serving each other; that God trusts us, guides us and tutors us until we become better people in our understanding of His Gospel and in loving all people.

How I live my faith

I seek to live in joy, looking daily for my blessings. I seek to forgive and release all my hurts. I try to do no harm and seek forgiveness when I do. I’m trying to be grateful for every day and every experience even when it is one I didn’t want. I try to study the scriptures as often as possible-- they truly speak to me and my specific needs. I try to serve and love all those who come into my life.
