Hi I'm Micah

I'm a husband and father of five children. I work in Property Management. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband and father of five children - 3 boys and 2 girls. My wife and I have been married for a lucky thirteen years. I worked in retail for nine years running a small, family-owned business. I currently work for a property management company and travel on a regular basis. I'm an avid sports fan and enjoy playing basketball and flag football.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and was baptized when I was eight years old. I've always believed and known the church to be true from a young age. I love the gospel and the principles it teaches. I have seen the blessings that come by keeping the commandments and following the example of Jesus Christ. I had the opportunity to serve a mission in Brazil. I love those people and witnessed the blessings that the gospel has to offer individuals and families. I was able to be married in the temple where we are promised that if we live righteously and keep the Lord's commandments, we can be together as a family forever. With the challenges and trials that we all face each day, I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ provides an anchor and support to overcome. I know that I'm a happier person and the Lord blesses me and my family when I make good choices and follow his commandments. We live in a world of broken families and decaying moral values. However, the gospel of Jesus Christ strengthens our family and reinforces the things that I teach my children.

How I live my faith

I currently serve in the church as a member of the bishopric in our ward. I have the opportunity and privilege to serve the members of the ward and community. I enjoy associating with the members and families in our ward. I enjoy working with the youth and home teaching. Home teaching allows us to develop friendships and care for one another in the church. There is a joy that comes from serving others. I have had the opportunity to serve in many different capacities within the church. Those opportunities have helped me to become a better person and develop my talents. I believe that it's through service that we come to know our Savior, Jesus Christ and become like him.
