Hi I'm Devin

I love camping with my family in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, I am Husband, a Father, a worker. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of three with a beautiful wife. I enjoy spending time with my kids including reading them books, taking them to the park, jumping on the trampoline with them, and many other activities. I also love the outdoors. During my college years I got into sport rock climbing and enjoy just about any activity that will take me into the beautiful mountains. We especially love camping as a family in the mountains. I also enjoy playing soccer, ultimate frisbee, basketball, and most any sport that will get me a little bit of exercise. I currently work for a large public accounting firm. While attending school I got into accounting and business, and I greatly enjoy learning about new businesses and how they work.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the feelings I get when I live the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the simple clarification that the gospel gives to my life. There is so much confusion in the world today, whether political, social, personal, environmental, or any other aspect of life; however, I have found the gospel to have pure and simple answers to the many tough questions out there. By living the gospel principals I have found direction during difficult decisions; happiness during difficult times; hope for the future; and faith in our Savior Jesus Christ. By living the gospel and its teachings I have come to feel and know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. I have also come to know that the teachings of the prophets in the Bible and the Book of Mormon are true teachings of Christ, and that Jesus Christ has re-established prophets on the Earth in the modern days in order to continue to provided the loving guidance that we need

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith throughout every aspect of my life whether in my home, my community, my occupation, or my friendships. My wife and I constantly strive to develop a Christ-Centered home for our children and their friends that fosters self confidence, modesty, faith, knowledge, divine nature, individual worth, choice and accountability, good works, integrity, and virtue. I also try to apply the teachings of the Savior in how I live my life and how I interact with others. I try to regularly serve in my community by volunteering for organizations such as Junior Achievement. I also serve in my local congregation by maintaining membership and financial records and assisting in efforts of welfare services for those in the congregation and community who require temporal and spiritual assistance.
