Hi I'm Chantelle

I'm a teeth cleaning, football watching, dinner burning mom of three boys, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, and mom to 3 loud boys. I love listening to thier laughter echoing through the house. I am a dental hygienist. I love my job. I love helping people improve their oral health (floss, floss, floss!) I love to scrapbook, and take pictures. I LOVE to watch the boys play sports, and am extremely involved with their activities. I love to camp, and look at beautiful scenery. I love being with my friends. I have an amazing life!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS church, but as a teenager rebelled. I thought I could find a better way on my own. I married and had three incredible sons. As I stumbled along trying to do things "my way", I really made our lives harder. 15 long years later I had the sudden urge to change my life. I prayed for the first time in a long time, and KNEW that God heard me, and knew me, and even LOVED me! I couldn't beleive it! It was in that moment that I knew my family deserved better, and so did I. We moved, and started over. Since returning to church our lives have been blessed in countless ways. Our home is more peaceful (if possible with three loud boys), we have clear values, a great support structure, and amazing friends. All of this was made clear one night by my 7 year old son, when he said "Mom, our family is better now, thanks." What a powerful testimony of the power of doing what is right. Its not always easy, but having a clear view of what we want for the future helps. I'm a mormon because it makes me feel good. I'm a mormon because it gives my boys a clear view of their Heavenly Father who loves them. I'm a mormon because I KNOW THIS CHURCH IS TRUE. I know first hand, that know matter what mistake you have made, or where you are in your life right now, our Heavenly Father loves you, he knows your struggles and is reaching out a hand to help. All you have to do is ask. He wants you to ask. I know that our savior Jesus Christ dies for me. He died for you. He died so that our sins can be forgiven and we can return to the presence of our God. I feel his impact on my life daily, and can not imagine going back to a life without it.

How I live my faith

I begin each day with a simple quiet prayer, to have help in remembering to be more Christ like. I like to try to love people who need to feel love, and show kindess to others. I try to lead my family by example. I read scriptures and study Christ's teachings as often as possible. I try to use daily experiences to show my boys the right way to live, or to teach them a gospel principle.
