Hi I'm Elizabeth

I am quirky and hopefully at times witty. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a young single adult currently working full time and attending University. I find comfort in being around friends and family during any free time I can muster up. I like to collect unusual stories from people I meet.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon religion, but did not attend during my teenage years. I found my testimony when I was 24 and had the opportunity to truly be far away from my family. I knew I was missing something in my life but never thought it was the gospel. I tried so many things in hopes of filling the gap in my core. Finally I decided to go to church and although it was awkward to return I found that the spirit started to fill me with a light and happiness that I had not felt for a long time. I started to read and learn about the gospel principles, it was amazing to find so many truths that I had been missing in my life. I could not see myself every returning to that empty place, I am truly blessed to have found the church and the spirit it brings.

How I live my faith

I am a visiting teacher; I visit two beautiful daughters of god. They are an amazing influence to me. Teaching me and helping me to grow, I hope that I am doing the same for them. I think that visiting teaching is such a great opportunity to make new friend and to provide service to my fellow sisters as we all transverse this life. It is a remarkable feeling to know that you are not going through your trials alone. I love sharing the gospel with friends and discussing our faiths no matter the religion. One of my good friends is Lutheran and has allowed me to go to church with her. She has such an amazing spirit and I love when she shares her testimony of the lord. It strengthens my own understanding and faith.
