Hi I'm Rachel Anne

I am happy, jubilant, joyous, uncontrollably rejoicing and smiling, all because I am a MORMON!

About Me

Where do I start? I was born of goodly parents that love the lord. We live in a small town where my graduating class was 162 and out of that there were 5 members of the church. So at school I was different than most. I was the mormon girl! I was a cheerleader for 5 years, I did cross country, golf (that was my favorite because people were stuck with me for 4 hours so i could share the gospel with them!), and I play saxophone and bass clarinet. I studied at BYU-Idaho in biology. I hope to become a research zoologist one day, travel the world, experience life and be with the love of my life= animals. I like science a lot, I am a strong supporter of science and religion co-existing. I am now on my mission in Utah!! I love it so much and i cant imagine doing anything else! its happier then Disney Land!

Why I am a Mormon

I have pondered over my testimony lately and how I gained one for myself. I never had ONE moment were it hit me that the church is true. I saw over time that the Lord really does teach you precept upon precept. I had so many experiences where it was confirmed to me what I knew was true. I have had prayers answered, felt comfort in times of need, and peace when things were troubling me. These small things are what overtime built my strong foundation. I have also felt the atonement in my life, that is when Christ suffered for our sins, our pains, our sorrows, He then died for us, but that wasn't all, he broke the bonds of death and He lives! The atonement is center to everything. and I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth that we can now use the atonement in our lives, through being baptized by someone that holds the priesthood authority, by taking the sacrament, going to the temple. I know this is Jesus Christ church on the earth today. I know because as I testify of these things, I do no testify alone. The Holy Spirit is with me and fills my soul.

How I live my faith

As a missionary, I live and breath the gospel 24/7. and I can honestly tell you, its the best things ever! I am able to study hours everyday and talk with so many people. I love sharing my testimony with everyone I meet. I am able to see it change the lives of others as well as strengthen my life. It has strengthened my knowledge of the Savior and how he LOVES ME. He has a plan for me as he does each one of us.
