Hi I'm Diana

I'm a Mormon. I'm so happy that the gospel is in my life. My husband and I became Mormons after we were married with a family .

About Me

I was born in New Mexico, grew up in Kansas, lived in California for most of my life and am now retired in Colorado. I worked most of my career in the medical field as an Ortho Tech/Xray Tech. I am happily married and have 5 wonderful sons who have blessed me with 17 grandchildren. My husband is my very best friend and eternal companion. Life is wonderful and I am very blessed !

Why I am a Mormon

At the time when the church was introduced in my life I was happily married with 2 small children. Family is so precious to me because I was adopted when I was 4 years old. I had wonderful adoptive parents and I was raised in an old fashioned religious home. When I met my husband, we were not of any specific denomination until the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints came into our lives. What a special time that was and still is to us. The main thing I embraced was that this church offered me a chance to have an eternal family forever. Our family has since grown to having 5 sons (4 married) and 17 grandchildren. I am so happy and feel so very blessed to have this church in my life and to be a Mormon. I now know that Families can be Together Forever !

How I live my faith

I try to live my life with faith by being the best example in all I try to do. One of my favorite callings was working in Primary with the young children ages 3 to 12. They are so excited to learn the Gospel and about the church. As I taught them, I too was able to learn through their eagernous and excitement. I also was excited to teach a class with my husband in Marriage/Family Relations classes on Sunday mornings. It was so fun to discuss how we are all the same with the same little problems and realize that how easy some of these things can be overcome with our mutual faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I also love being a visiting teacher. I have received a very strong testimony because of some of the visiting teachers that have helped me through trials with illnesses and listening ears. I love the idea of being of service to my sisters in the gospel and to others who might need my help. Blessings definitely come thru service to others.
