Hi I'm Roger Terry

I was raised on a farm in Southeastern Idaho. I am a professor of Ag Communications at a major university. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised on a farm in Idaho. Education has always been important to me. I received a BS degree in Agronomy and a Masters and Ph.D. degree in Soil Physics. I was asked to provide technology training to faculty and staff when the first personal computers hit the market in the early 1980s. Since that time I have been involved in technology and communication administration and management at midwestern universities. I now teach communications courses. I enjoy working with students.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I served a two year mission for the Church. I have a testimony that God lives and his Son, Jesus Christ died for us, making it possible for us to return to God's presence. I know God, our Heavenly Father, is concerned about his children as we go through experiences here on earth. I know He has a plan for us. My educational experiences serve to reinforce that testimony.

How I live my faith

I learned from my parents at an early age that service is important. I enjoy being of service to others. I've been involved in the Boy Scouts of America for over 25 years. I was a scoutmaster for 6 years. I enjoyed that time very much. I try to be of service in the community whenever I can.
