Hi I'm Karma

I grew up as an Army Brat. I have lived in 7 different states and I am a Mormon

About Me

I am a mother of 6 children. Two who are in college at Colorado State University, two in high school and two in middle school. I love to ski. I have been skiing for 10 years and still have to stay on the blues. I love to hike in the mountains. Pretty much anything to do with nature makes me happy. I love to camp and ride 4wheelers with my family. We all share the same love for the mountains and just enjoy being outside.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is my life. It has made me who I am today and has helped me to raise my children in righteousness. I am a Mormon because I know that I have made the choices in my life because of the values that it teaches. I am a Mormon because 2 missionary elders came to my door to teach the gospel and I learned about Jesus Christ's church. I am a Mormon because I know that I will have eternal life with my family. I am proud to say that I am a Mormon. I know the that through the atonment we can be forgiven of our sins and attain eternal exhaltation. I know that this is the true church on the earth that has be restored for our days. To help us and guide us in everything that we do. The Holy Ghost is always there for me when ever I need a friend or whenever I feel alone. The Holy Ghost is a special gift given to us. It not a gift that will ever break, or be put away in some closet and be forgotten. It is a gift of forever and I am glad that I have that. I love the gospel with all my heart and will always continue to follow it's teachings.

How I live my faith

I live my faith with pride. I love to serve others. It is when I am the happiest. I teach thewomen in our ward. It helps me with principles and I feel often that the lessons are more for my self then for those I am teaching. I am also the young women's camp director. I have gone to camp for the past 10 years and hope to continue to go with the these beautiful young women. I was very active in our community with soccer before my son graduated from high school. I helped run soccer tournaments for many out of state and in state teams. I am involved with my children in their schools. I believe this is a great example of my faith when I am an example to others around me.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Through sincere prayer you can know that the church is true. Reading the Book Of Mormon and pondering what you have read and praying about what you have read will help you to know. You will have a wonderful feeling in your heart, A burning like no other that is sometimes over whelming. You need to understand that this is Our Father In Heaven telling you that it is true.
