Hi I'm Tielle!

I'm from Missouri. I'm studying Medical Laboratory Science at BYU. I served a mission in Hungary. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Missouri! I have two brothers and four sister, as well as a loving Mother and Father. I love my family and feel so blessed to have them in my life! I'm a college student studying Medical Laboratory Science. I have also been thinking about going to PT school. Running, hiking, reading, finger-painting and watching historical sports films are some of my favorite things to do. I love music! I'm into Mat Kearney, American Authors, and Of Monsters and Men right now!

Why I am a Mormon

I've had the wonderful opportunity to be raised in this church. My father was a convert before he and my mother were married and I am so grateful that my parents raised and taught me the importance of always following Christ's example. I have found The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be God's true church. I have daily read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know of its truthfulness. I love this book! Just like the Bible, it contains God's words. Christ is central to the Book of Mormon and I feel that I can get closer to Him as I read this sacred book. As I strive to be as Christ was and serve as He did, my life is filled with so much joy and happiness. Life should be happy! That is what God wants for us. It is the whole reason why He sent His son, Jesus Christ, to the Earth. Christ atoned for our sins so that we can repent, become better people, and be happy! :D Life is hard, but it is manageable when we know that God loves us and wants us to be happy.

How I live my faith

I love church and I love God! I always come away from every church meeting feeling uplifted and enlightened. Service and friend-shipping are some of the ways that I live my faith. Christ lived a life full of service and loved unconditionally. That is what I try to do also. There are so many cool people in the world! I love having the opportunity to meet new people and become their friend. The gospel of Jesus Christ is so important to me that I decided to serve a mission. For 18 months I served in Hungary. Again, I met so many cool people. I have gained such an appreciation for the Hungarians and their culture. While teaching about the love of God and the importance of following Christ's example, I also learned so many life lessons from the Hungarians. They are an amazing, hardworking people. One of the main reasons that I wanted to serve a mission was because the gospel has made my life so happy and I wanted others to have that same happiness in their own lives.
