Hi I'm DaNae.

I love numbers. I like to be vintage and drive old cars. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised a member of the LDS faith. There was a time in my youth where I had quit going to church but high school seminary helped me overcome that. I am a BYU-Idaho graduate, where I studied math and economics. I'm a complete nerd -- I love school, numbers, and learning. I'm currently in the process of getting ready to go back to school for my masters at ASU. A lot of people think I'm quiet and shy but once they get to know me, they realize just how wrong they were ;) I love people -- meeting them, getting to know them, hanging out with them, and making friendships. I'm the youngest of 6 kids and I am always getting teased but I know they love me and would do anything for me. I am so blessed to get to spend forever with them! :)

Why I am a Mormon

I love Jesus Christ. I owe everything to Him. He is my Savior and Redeemer. I can't fully express my gratitude to Him that He would die for me and take my sins upon Him so I may live eternally one day. I know through Him I may return to live with my Heavenly Father again and can be with my family forever. I am so grateful to be a member of His church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know it is the Kingdom of God restored on the Earth. I love this gospel for all that it stands for and what it teaches. We are encouraged to be up-standing citizens while maintaining integrity, honesty, and faith. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet, called of God, to help restore the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Earth. Through the sacred work done in the temple, we may can be sealed to our families and live with them forever. I'm so fortunate to have this knowledge and want everyone to have it too.

How I live my faith

I try my hardest to live my faith that it shows in everything I do, for it is a part of me, in my very core. Everything I do, my very being, is because of my faith. Words I speak, mannerisms and behaviors I perform, and even thoughts I think I always try to point back to my Savior. He is my strength and support, without whom I'd be nothing. Other ways I live my faith is by attending church every Sunday for 3 hours, which hardly feels long enough. Special time is set aside every Monday night for family, and every Tuesday night for other members I go to church with. We usually have a social gathering/activity once a month where we will serve, build, and lift one another. I live close enough to a temple that I'm able to attend once a week for a couple of hours and that time is very special and sacred to me. I have the wonderful opportunity to serve in the church by visiting with a couple of girls each month and encouraging others to do the same where we meet with one another, share spiritual messages, and build each other. It's great to have such a great support system of people, knowing we all care for each other and want to help each other. I also had the opportunity to share the gospel as a full-time missionary in the New Jersey Morristown Mission, it was so great to share this truth and I only wish it had lasted longer. There are so many ways to serve and live the LDS Faith. It is my testimony that others see it in me!
