Hi I'm Esther Cano

I grew up in Puebla de los Angeles Mexico & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I'm the oldest of four siblings. I'm graduated in Tourism Management from Meritorious Autonomous University of Puebla. I love spent time with my family and friends, I love exercising, dancing and cooking different types of food, I like to go to the movies and I enjoy volunteering and helping others. I love being self-taught, I like to learn new things, I believe that we all have the ability to achieve our dreams and goals, God has bestowed upon us gifts to be self-sufficient for our own benefit and to help others. I'm currently living in U.S.

Why I am a Mormon

Four years ago I converted to the church. I am the oldest of four siblings, my mother is a widow and she was baptized in the church twenty-four years ago but she had been inactive for a long time, she taught us to pray at mealtime and bedtime and she taught us principles to live modestly , but we did not attend church ... I have a testimony of missionary work, one day the missionaries arrived and knocked on my door and reactivated my mother and my family, my life has changed deeply since, my brother is serving the Monterrey-east mission, my mother participates in Relief Society, I have a nice and two nephews, twins, we are a very close family and we understand the true meaning of life. Often the trials we face every day bring pain, anguish and frustration making us blind over time and believe that it is good to live in that way and there’s nothing more for us. I can testify that the gospel transforms our hearts of stone into hearts more human, I know that our burdens are lightened as we strive to meet God doing our part, I can understand that as each generation and continent face different needs God is the same anywhere it does not matter what language we speak, he loves us, each one of us because we are part of him and his plan. I know for my own experience that this is true and Joseph Smith was not only extraordinary, and instrumental in the work of God in these last days. Joseph was called to be a prophet, also the Book of Mormon is true and I know these things because I have prayed and this has been sealed in my heart with an indelible testimony. *And this according to the prophecy, that they shall again be brought to the true knowledge, which is the knowledge of their Redeemer, and their great and true shepherd, and be numbered among his sheep. Helaman 15:13...

How I live my faith

Well, I'm not perfect but I try to do my best every place I go. I try to strive to fulfill my callings. All have taught me a lot, I've served as Relief Society's President in a small branch, I've been teacher in the Relief Society, YSA's Rep, nowadays I serve on the Munch and mingle committee. I fight with my own limitations and fears but also I ask God for help through a pray. I try to apply this quote in my life"Get on your knees and pray, then get on your feet and work." — Gordon B. Hinckley I'm grateful with God for everything I have in my life. I try to live what I know now and what I have learned. I love to read the scriptures. I invite all researchers and those who are tired of looking for truth elsewhere you may look for the missionaries they are ready to answer your questions and above all pray, there is no greater testimony THROUGH pray and the testimony of the Holy Spirit, if you have never prayed try it, it's a special experience, you will feel that special feeling... Ask, and it shall be given unto you seek, and ye shall find knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 3Nephi 14:7 in The book of Mormon and in The Bible in Matthew 7:7
