Hi I'm Becca.

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of eight amazing children. I've been married for 21 years to my wonderful husband. I graduated in math education and taught for a year before being blessed to be a stay-at-home mom. I love to read and organize our busy schedules. I like to help in my children's school and visit with friends. My husband considers me the best roll maker in the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I have received a witness from the Holy Ghost that it is the true church. I was raised in the Gospel by loving, wise parents. But, I found out for myself, by applying John 7:17 and through prayer, that the Gospel is true. I have found great peace and joy in living the principles of the Gospel. I am so grateful for the Atonement of my Savior, Jesus Christ. It has blessed my life in so many ways. I love the scriptures. The Book of Mormon has been such a great strength in my life. So many times I have needed answers, and they've been there. Reading the scriptures also brings a great peace and strength in my life. With eight children, things often get pretty chaotic, and the scriptures give me the grounding I need to get through the day. I am grateful to a loving Heavenly Father who gives me the help I need every day.

How I live my faith

I've had the opportunity to serve in many different ways as an adult. I've spent many years working with the children in my ward. It's amazing to see the strength and knowledge they have at a young age. I love teaching children the Gospel and strengthening my testimony as I focus on the basics. In conjunction with my callings with the children, I've served for many years in the Scouting arm of the Church. With six sons, it's great to have a program that helps them to develop Christlike qualities and prepares them to hold the priesthood. I currently work with the Boys Scouts helping the young men advance in their Scouting and help organize the Visiting Teaching in my ward.
