Hi I'm Heather

I'm a wife, a mother, an football organization leader, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I have travelled around the world with this cute guy I married over twenty years ago. I'm a mom to three great kids, that keep me constantly moving. I'm a football enthusiast. I've coached it, refereed and now I run a competitive football organization. I love spending time with my family, music, reading, cooking, travel and did I mention football?

Why I am a Mormon

When I was in high school I started exploring religions. I knew I believed in Christ, but I wanted to find more. The strong family values taught by our church first attracted me, but I was also searching for a logical flow. As I attended church and learned more about the restored gospel, I knew I had found the gospel as it was first given. I had some changes to make in my life, but almost twenty five years later, I have never looked back.

How I live my faith

I love working with the youth of the Church. I think of my conversion, and how I leaned on those around me as I searched for truth. I love that God would answer the pleadings of a young boy, when Joseph asked which church he should join. It resignates with me since I was a similar age and asking the same question. Today I tell my kids the same thing. God knows you, He loves you and will answer your prayers. When Peter asked, what is the greatest commandment, Christ answered, "Love one another." I'm not pretending to say that I have this in the bag, but I find that when I serve those around me, I feel closer to God happier and more patient with those around me.
