Hi I'm Ann

I love my life! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I married young and have raised five wonderful children. When my youngest child was in high school, I went back to college and earned a BA and Master's degree. I am currently doing independent contract work as technical writer. I like to water ski, canoe, go walking with my friends, read, hang out with my family, cook nutritious meals and cruise in my torch red 1955 Thunderbird convertible.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the peace I feel when I read the Book of Mormon. I can feel the love of God when I read it. His love for us is as a loving father. He wants us to be happy and to learn, grow, and make choices that will bring our hearts closer to Him. That is where we find peace in this confusing world. The Book of Mormon supports the Bible beautifully by making the ways of God easier to understand. It is comforting to know God loves us and has provided a Savior to take away our sins and heal all human suffering. He has not left us without direction, but He will not interfere with our lives. It is up to us to find Him. All who truly seek Him will find Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving those around me--my family, friends and community. I recently helped organize a day of service in which over 500 people participated. We helped spruce up neighborhood schools by painting, trimming bushes, weeding, cleaning up gravel and hauling bark. It feels good to work along side people who are trying to improve our community.
