Hi I'm Lee

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I met in the 4th grade. We are parents of four children and 10 grandchildren. I love fly fishing and family history research. I have worked as a construction controller, insurance executive and have spent the last two and a half years as a consultant encouraging investment into a country with one of Africa's fastest growing economies.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed to know wonderful people on two continents with great faith in God. These friends include those of Christian and Non Christian faiths. I watch them pray and act in accordance with their understanding and love of God. They live wonderful lives and bless many of Heavenly Father's children. How do my beliefs differ from theirs? I believe that God the Father and Jesus Christ have an infinite love for each soul who lives or has lived upon this earth. I believe like many faiths that there are certain ordinances essential to enable the God's salvation for each of us. I believe that this is the only church upon the earth that enables God's perfect plan of fairness and love for each of his children. That is why we build temples and perform ordinances on behalf of ancestors who never had that opportunity while living upon this earth. I believe that these ordinances allows us to live as families with eternally with our Savior and Heavenly Father. I believe God has not only revealed a plan of happiness that encompasses my good friends but all of their posterity and descendents yet to come. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I hope long after I am gone that family and friends will remember me as a kind person. I strive to be a good example for my children and grandchildren. I try to emulate the good qualities of all my good friends. In my discretionary time I counsel with those members and leaders in eight of our congregations. It is a joy to see lives change for the better as they follow the example of Jesus Christ. I work in an African country where the people and leaders freely give credit to God for all the good things happening in their lives. Their churches are full on Sundays. I watch the Lord's blessings upon this country. I strive to enable these same types of blessings in my life and the lives of those I love. I hope I have a grateful heart and a willingness to share my blessings with others.
