Hi I'm Tim

I grew up in Idaho and New Jersey. I am a tennis player, father and husband. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I met my wife at Brigham Young University, we have three children. I work for a private family office (founder of the Hot Pockets brand business), where I oversee the real estate investment management business. I enjoy reading, tennis, mountain biking and being together with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon for many reasons. I believe that by living the teachings and principles of the church it helps me become a better husband, father, friend and neighbor. Paramount among the teachings of the church is the belief that Jesus Christ is the living Son of God. I am attracted to living the teachings of Christ and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints helps me to become more Christlike. The Church's teachings on the importance of family relationships is also very appealing and resonates with my view of a loving Heavenly Father. The inspired organization and service orientation of it's membership also supports my understanding of divine scriptures and need for continued revelation from God. Finally, I am Mormon because of my own personal search for truth and answer to my prayers and desire to align myself with God's plan for each of His children.

How I live my faith

I would like to think that my faith encompasses all facets of my life, I am definitely a work in process. I currently serve as a Bishop in the church. This opportunity to serve closely with the local membership of the church has been a grat blessing in my life. It has enabled me to work closely with the youth, which I love. We have a lot of fun planning events and activities which support the teachings of Christ. In particular, we have the opportunity to perform many acts of service for the community and develop many leadership traits in our young men and women. Most importantly, my faith in Christ serves as a great foundation in helping me overcome my own personal weaknesses and challenges so I can be in a position to help my family and others that I might come to know.
