Hi I'm Rosemary

I have been happily married for 12 years. Our blended family of 4 kids are all in college at the same time. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always been a happy person even though challenges have not passed me by. I have been divorced and widowed. Now I am happily married and enjoy hanging out with my best friend. He and I love going on hikes, playing games, and visiting family together. He and I blended our families and now all 4 of our kids and 1 son-in-law, are attending college at the same time! I am very proud of them. I enjoy reading good books and doing puzzles in my down time.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was in 4th grade, a friend of mine invited me to attend church with her. I asked my mother's permission hoping that she would say, "no." To my surprise, she said that it was okay. After attending my first meeting at the Mormon Church, I was happy to attend every week from that point on. I met with the missionaries and listened to their message. I prayed to know of the truth of what I was hearing. My heart was filled up with warmth and love and I had my answer. I was baptized a month before my 12th birthday and have been glad every day since then for my decision. My life has been very blessed by having a knowledge of Jesus Christ. This gospel teaches of his divine roll in our lives and of the importance of reading about his life and words in the scriptures.

How I live my faith

Some of my favorite experiences come from serving with my church family in community clean up projects. After a hurricane in southern Texas, a very large group of church members drove 3 hours to the damaged location and helped total strangers clean their yards and repair their roofs. I enjoy meeting with fellow church members in my home and in their homes discussing our Savior's love for each of us. I try each day to live as Jesus would want me to. A very favorite song of mine from church quotes, "I'm trying to be like Jesus. I'm following in his ways. I'm trying to love as he did in all that I do and say." There is a lot of room for improvement at this stage in my life, but I am encouraged to continue trying because, I know that Jesus loves me.
