Hi I'm Charles

I grew up in Texas. I am married with three kids. I like to run marathons. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to travel. Planning the trips is the funnest part for me. I also like to run and enjoy training for marathons. I am not that fast, but enjoy the strategy and planning part of the race. I really value my family relationships and use my alone time during running to think and ponder about how to improve the relationships with my wife, teen-age daughter, teen-age son, and 10 year old son.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I grew up in the church, I have my own testimony that it is true. Even if it was just for the youth programs alone, that would be enough for me to want to keep my family active in the church. My teen agers are turning out great and my wife and I know it is through the assistance of the church and the structure and guidance that the this provides our kids. I firmly believe that anyone with a desire to have a strong family relationship with their wife and kids would benefit from being part of this church.

How I live my faith

I teach a class each week to the adults in our church. It is sometimes overwhelming because some people know more than me. However, I use it as an opportunity to learn more about the early days of the church when Christ lived. I also am able to provide my family a "mini" version of my weekly lesson to help teach them what I am learning. This family time is crucial for us to stay united communicate to each other what is going on during the busy high school years.
