Hi I'm Brent

I'm a Mormon, a father, husband and food safety auditor.

About Me

I am nearing the end of my career as a Food Technologist. I am currently employed by a major food company to insure that their ingredient supply chain meets all food safety requirements. In doing so I have visited over 50 food companies in the last couple years. It has been interesting to see how things are made. I am also the grandfather to 9, soon to be 11 wonderful grandkids. My wife of 39 years and I look forward to getting to know them better.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because, in the Church of jesus Christ I can find the answers to life's questions. I find purpose and direction and peace. I can surround myself with some of the most generous, kind and giving people in the world with high moral values that can bouy me up and keep me headed in the right direction. But, I am a Mormon primarily because God has answered my prayers. I know that Jesus Christ is my personal savior. He loves me and has provided an infinite atonement that covers even my sins and will allow me to be made whole to stand in the presence of God some day. In this life, the restored gospel allows me access to those saving ordinances that can make that all possible...preformed by restored priesthood authority.

How I live my faith

Because I have seen what church membership can do for others I want to be part of it too. I served a two year mission in Australia as a young man and have continued to serve where called including a few years leading a ward as a Bishop. Now my wife and I would like to serve a "Mission" together where ever we can do the most good. The purpose of life is not to see how much money I can collect. I have seen that disappear recently. But, there IS more to life in the service to others and our families. That is where true joy can be found.
