Hi I'm Ryan

I live in Nor Cal and I love to wakeboard. I am a BYU student and I plan on becoming a surgeon. I'm a mormon.

About Me

So about me...well first off everyone knows me as the "wakeboard kid"! haha I absolutely love to wakeboard! I'm a college student attending Brigham Young University and absolutely love it there! I'm loving at majoring in Exercise Science and my goal is to become a surgeon. I love spending time with my family! It is definitely my favorite thing to do! I even love spending time with them more than I love to wakeboard! I would do anything for my family. I am the oldest of 3 and I strive to be the example for my bro and sis. My family is what you consider soccer fanatics! When we aren't at home or school we are most likely on the soccer field. My little bother and sister are really good at the sport! I played my fair share of soccer which came to an end when I tore some ligaments in my knee from a wakeboarding injury. I run my own business and work for myself! When I'm not at the lake in the summer you will most likely see me working so I can pay for school and be ready for the future. I served a mission in Independence Missouri and feel in love with the people there. I definitely consider my mission the best thing I've done in my life. Serving others brings a special joy for other and yourself as well. Well that is me in a nutshell!

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I Mormon??? Well I know that the church in true and becuase I know its true I want to live the best life that I can live on this earth! This gospel is what has shaped me into the person I am today! It brings soooo much HAPPINESS into my life! I honestly would have no clue what I would do without the gospel! It provides me with soo much direction and I am soo glad for it. Even if the church was not ture I would still live the principles of the gospel. The gospel makes me HAPPY. =) The Priesthood Authority that was restored to Joseph Smith is really what sets the Mormon church apart from other churches. We believe that the priesthood authority that Christ bestowed upon his apostles was lost for centuries after they were persecuted and killed, yet in the 1800s God the Father and His son Jesus Christ visited Joseph Smith and ultimately restored the priesthood to the Earth through Joseph Smith who was called to be a prophet.

How I live my faith

Well living the faith is what makes me who I am. I grew up in the church and I was raised living the gospel standards in my home. I am grateful for my parents who raised me in a righteous home. Being a mormon is awesome! I love living the gospel standards because they bring me much joy. I do my best to just be myself and do things that would help me live a Christlike life. I served a two year mission preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and loved every minute of it. Right now I am a student at BYU and I do my best to participate in service programs, participate in genealogy, visit others hoping to help them out, and I strive to set a good example for those around me. I like surrounding myself near people who encourage me to become better.
