Hi I'm Leslie

I'm a mother of 4, grew up in Mesa, AZ. I work at a high school and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 29 wonderful years to a fantastic husband that married me for time and all eternity in the Mesa, Arizona Temple. I have 4 wonderful children, 3 boys and 1 girl. We love trips to the lakes and spending time as a family. As a family we are very involved in the wrestling community. I love to cook and bake. I love to read, especially mysteries.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that Joseph Smith saw God and his Son, Jesus Christ. I believe that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I believe in modern day revelation through modern day Prophets. I believe that President Thomas S. Monson is the prophet of our church. I also believe that our Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers. I believe that he know each and every one of us personally. I believe that through my Temple marriage that my family can be together forever and not just during this lifetime. I am so grateful for the blessings of this gospel and the way it has helped me to raise my family. I am so grateful for the love and support of all the brothers and sisters I have throughout the church worldwide. I am very grateful for the missionary program and the joy it has brought to my family. I have 3 boys that have had the wonderful opportunity to go out and share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others. They have also been able to serve their fellow man and for the lessons that they were taught through this wonderful opportunity. I don't know where I would be today without this wonderful gospel and the teachings I have received. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true church on the face of the earth today. I know that I have the opportunity to live eternally with my family as long as I obey my covenants that I have made and obey the commandments given by my Heavenly Father. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday by my example. I have the wonderful oppertunity to serve the Young Women in our ward. I teach the girls ages 16-18. I get to spend 1 night a week with them as well as 1 hour teaching them on Sundays. I am also, what we like to call a visiting teacher. I get the chance to go out and visit a couple of women in our ward area to check on them and serve them in any manner they may need. It is a wonder experience.
