Hi I'm Ann

I grew up in a small college town in Idaho and graduated from BYU in Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mom of three kids. My Husband coaches college football, so I often feel like a single parent 9 months of the year. We also move a lot with his job changes. From this I have friends all over the country. I like to be outdoors, swim, ski, aerobics, tennis, golf, teach piano, and digital scrapbook.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel is an amazing influence in my life. When I try and work by faith to implement the principles that are taught, I gain a testimony of its truth. The book of Mormon has a power and strength like no other I have found. I firmly believe in its teachings and am so thankful that I can learn of its wisdom time and time again each time that I read and study it. I also feel of its added protection for my family when I read daily with my children. We incoporate it into our lives and its values and teachings becomes part of who we are. I feel more confident sending my children out into the world each day. I know its teachings builds their strength in them as persons.

How I live my faith

I help orchestrate family scripture study, prayer, and family nights together. I try and serve my family by creating a home that is inviting to the spirit and one that my kids can feel good to come home to. I strive to serve and treat my kids with love and respect as I would imagine the savior would feel towards them. I serve as a secretary to the womens organization at Church. It keeps me busy on the computer a lot. But am happy to be able to serve in that capacity and still take care of my family as needed. Also I am sometimes called upon to play the piano in various church meetings. I am always so thankful that I can help. The talent has blessed me in being able to give piano lessons and help provide for my family. I jump at any chance that I can serve the Lord in this capacity, as He gave me this talent. I am so grateful for my blessings that I do want to serve my Lord.
