Hi I'm Rob

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a married father of five and a grandfather of two. My wife and I met on a blind date during college and have been married for 30 years. I am an engineer by training and profession and I enjoy weight training, coin collecting and photography. In 2012 I walked my first marathon. As a much younger man, I served a mission for the church in Osaka, Japan.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints bring me joy and peace. In a world so full of turmoil, it is wonderful to have the knowledge that a higher power is in control and that there is more to our existence that what we can see now. I sincerely believe in God the Eternal Father, in his son Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost and I believe that we are spirit children of our Heavenly Father. I have read the Book of Mormon many times and truly believe that those writings are true.

How I live my faith

I try to live the commandments, to be honest and to serve my fellow-man. For many years, I have been very active in the Scouting organization and have worked hard to help young men learn and live by the Scout Oath and Law. I try to set a good example for my family and to be kind to those around me.
