Hi I'm Jeanette

I'm a busy mother of 4 living in Arizona who loves to read and play the piano. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy reading and playing the piano. I've developed a love for all things budgeting as well as organizing meals for my family. I'm a stay at home mom and I have 4 children who keep our life busy, fun and challenging. When people ask me if I work (meaning a formal job) I chuckle and tell them yes, I just don't get paid. I enjoy spending time with family and close friends. My husband and I have been married for 15 years. We met at college.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are members of the church and raised me and my siblings in the gospel. What I have learned is that being part of the this church brings me joy. I'm happier when I go to church and participate and serve. I watched my peers get involved in things that went contrary to what I was being taught in church. Those ultimately lead to heartbreak. At times people called the standards of the church restrictive, but I have seen those standards lead me to happiness free from many forms of addictions and self desturctive behavior. I have seen evidnece of God's hand in my life too many times to turn my back on Him.

How I live my faith

I once heard to plant seeds of doubt in obedience. I have tried to live by that by serving faithfully in different callings. It's one of the things that I love about the church. Especially as a stay at home mom I have the chance to learn and be involved with different age groups and grow in ways I could not have imagined. Because I play the piano I have served as a pianist for choirs, youth and children's groups. I love being involved with music. To my surprise I have served a president of a youth group for girls and also a president of the group for children. I am a reserved person and I get very nervous when I speak to large groups of people. Through callings I am overcoming that fear and nervousness. My children have benefitted from being involved with the different age groups and their activities. Being part of a ward is a great support system to have. We've moved a few times and each time I realized how lucky I am to be part of the church and feel welcomed and fellowshipped by the members of the church.
