Hi I'm Mike Isom

I grew up in Southern Utah. I have lived throughout the West. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always loved the outdoors and the many and varied things the desert southwest has to offer. While growing up I have many vivid memories of time spent out of doors. I think this is why, even today many of my hobbies find me out side, actively engaged in off-roading, golfing, swimming, and enjoying nature. I am the father of 4 and the grandfather of 4. My wife of 32 years and I, truly enjoy the time we spend with our posterity. I work in the software industry as a director of consulting.

Why I am a Mormon

While I was born into the church, I am no different than anyone else in that I needed to come to a witness of its truthfulness for myself. I was fortunate enough to recieve this witness early in my life, which affored me the opportunity to serve a mission to the Navajo Indians adn share the knowledge of the truth with this reminant of the house of Iseral. In addition i have the recipeintatn of many miricals through the priesthood of God in my life, as well as the witness of those same powers and miricales in the lives of my family memebers. The doctrines of our savior Jesus Christ as contained in their fullness in the Book of Mormon ahd bene like guiding lights

How I live my faith

I have enjoyed many opportunities to serve within the several ward congregations I have been a member of. I have found that the love you gain for a person is in direct proportion to the service you are able to render to them. It is the spirit of service that is the key. Whiter I was serving as a Bishop in a ward of 600 or a home teacher visiting and shepparding a single member of our Lord's flock, the spirit of service remains the same. My wife and I have serve as a Church services missionary teaching classes on strengthen marriage to members of our church in the Chandler area. Standing for true and correct principals and virtues in today’s society is another way I have been able to live my faith including joining with like minded members of other faiths to bring about change within our community, state, and nation.
